Baker Tilly Staples Rodway’s National Marketing and Communications team is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications professional to join us on a fixed-term basis as parental leave cover. This role is ideally suited to someone with prior experience who enjoys working across digital marketing, communications and brand activity within a collaborative, national environment.
This position plays a key role in supporting the marketing priorities of the Baker Tilly Staples Rodway network, working closely with the National Marketing and Communications Manager and stakeholders across our regional offices.
About the role
You will be contributing to the delivery and continuous improvement of our digital marketing channels, campaigns and brand presence. You’ll support national marketing initiatives, help maintain high brand standards, and provide practical marketing support to offices across the network.
This is a fixed‑term parental leave cover role, commencing Monday, 22 June 2026 through to Monday, 3 May 2027 (or a later end date, by mutual agreement).
Key responsibilities include:
Build EDMs and manage audience databases.
Support content creation and manage social media activity across our digital channels (Primary Meta and LinkedIn), including paid campaigns and audience targeting.
Monitor and report on campaign, social media and website performance using analytics tools such as GA4.
Ensure consistent and correct application of Baker Tilly Staples Rodway and Baker Tilly International brand guidelines across all marketing and communications materials.
About you
You will ideally bring 3-4 years’ experience in a marketing and communications role, ideally within a professional or corporate environment, along with:
Strong working knowledge of Meta, LinkedIn and Mailchimp
Competence across the Microsoft Office suite
High-quality written communication skills
The ability to work autonomously, use sound judgement and proactively solve problems
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
A collaborative approach and the ability to build trust with colleagues
It would be advantageous to have:
A tertiary qualification in marketing or communications
Experience using GA4 and digital analytics tools
Experience within a professional services environment
Familiarity with tools such as SurveyMonkey, TikTok, YouTube and/or Eventbrite
A working understanding of SEO/GEO
Experience with photography, videography or video editing (e.g. Adobe Express, Premiere Pro or similar)
