Shelving Shop are specialists in the design, manufacturing and installation of shelving, commercial racking and bulk storage solutions. Our clients range from Hospitals and retailers requiring nationwide fit-outs through to large-scale storage facilities.
We are a family business that has been in operation for more than 30 years and are committed to creating efficient and effective shelving and storage products that are manufactured and installed to the highest industry safety standards.
The opportunity
Working within our Operations & Administration Team, we’re looking for a highly organised and detail driven Accounts & Office Administrator to support our day‑to‑day accounts and administrative functions.
This role would suit someone with existing accounts experience, or someone with a strong administrative background who is keen to further develop their accounts skills. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and have opportunities to grow your capability within the role.
You’ll take ownership of a variety of day‑to‑day accounts and administration tasks, including:
Managing day‑to‑day accounts tasks, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Processing invoices and completing accurate data entry
Reconciling sub‑contractor and supplier statements
Completing basic accounts analysis and reporting
Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
Managing online ordering and bookings
Supporting the wider team with general administration
You’ll also be a key point of contact, providing friendly and professional support to our staff, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
The position is a part‑time, Monday - Friday role, offering flexibility to suit the right person.
What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated experience within accounts, financial support, or office administration
Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new systems
Highly developed organisational and time management skills
Proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership and follows through
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
Self-motivated, efficient with high attention to detail
