Audit Manager
A very rare opportunity has arisen for to join our rapidly growing Audit team AND live in the sunniest region of NZ!
About the role
Our team conduct external audits across a range of clients including not for profits, large corporate organisations with everything in between. Our customer service ethic and commitment to producing an exceptional quality of work is the strength of our team.
This role is responsible for providing management support to the Audit Director and taking ownership for managing our team of 8 (from graduate to Assistant Manager) on a day-to-day basis including
- coaching & development
- planning workflow
- client liaison
- anything else they need!
There also a range of project work in the mix which can add huge diversity to your workload.
Our average work week is 40 – 45 hours with peaks and troughs throughout the year depending on our deadlines.
About you
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assistant manager looking for a step up or an Audit Manager looking for a change in Firm or location and to join a fantastic team who thrive on sharing their knowledge and delivering to their clients. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for auditing, life, and learning, and is ready to sink their teeth into anything and everything!
You’ll get the most out of this role if you have:
- CA Qualification and minimum of 3 years post qualified experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of NZ IFRS and PBE reporting standards
- At least 2 years managing a team including motivating, developing and recruiting.
- A focus on efficiency, professionalism and quality
