About the Role:
Our team process payrolls, advises clients and provide support across a diverse range of industries and payroll systems. This full-time role requires you to be an inquiring learner who is good at problem solving and has a thorough knowledge of the Holidays Act. We aim to make our clients lives easier by supporting them to pay their teams efficiently and accurately – there is opportunity to work from home on the busy days or if something needs to be finalised after hours.
We also manage system review, implementation and payroll health check projects to be sure our clients have everything is as it should be. You will be fully supported by our team of payroll, accounting and HR specialists so there is plenty of opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge while still working independently.
About you:
To get the most out of this role you will have:
- A client service focus with dedication to deadlines
- 5 years + experience using and payroll software systems
- Experience processing payroll in range of organisations of varied complexities and sizes
- A natural tendency to build relationships with clients and communicate effectively
- A solid understanding of NZ payroll legislation and the complexities of the Holidays Act
- An ability to thrive on managing several deliverables simultaneously
- A passion for problem solving
- A willingness to learn
