About Us
Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a Ngāti Kahungunu mandated, kaupapa Māori values-based health and social services organisation. We provide services to our community along the East Coast of the North Island, from Mahia to Remutaka. Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully with whānau for over 35 years. Our Whakakitenga (Vision) is ‘Te Haaro o te Kahu ki Tauwhakarere – The Hawk sees beyond the horizon to our future’.
The Opportunities
TToH are proud to celebrate 40 years of service delivering Health and Social services to whānau and the communities we serve. After 10 years of significant growth and following a recent realignment, we have a number of newly created operational management roles on offer that play a pivotal role in the delivery of services to the whānau and communities we serve.
We are recruiting 4 Service Delivery Manager positions, all of which report to our various General Managers in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Service Delivery Manager, Mental Health & Addiction
- Service Delivery Manager, Hauora
- Service Delivery Manager, Housing
- Service Delivery Manager, Social Services
All of these positions lead teams of subject matter experts delivering important health and social services to the community.
About you
The successful applicants will already be working within the Health & Social Services sector and will be resilient; solutions based and be expected to uphold Ngā Uratanga, our core values.
In addition, candidates should be able to demonstrate the below:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in senior operational management positions with proven ability to take ownership and accountability for driving organisational performance and improvement.
- Proven breadth of experience in leadership/operational management positions within the Health & Social Services sector
- Demonstrated track record of developing and managing high performing teams
- Strong understanding of Māori culture, values, and practices or a genuine willingness to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels and in a variety of environments.
