Based in Taranaki Cleanline Tasman is a multi-generational NZ family-owned business and are a real success story offering a range of products and services to businesses Nationwide. Due to huge growth, they are soon to move to a brand-new purpose built 'state of the art' facility in Bell Block.
Cleanline Tasman specialise in supplying high quality workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE) along with in-house branding for uniforms. To make the process easier and more efficient they offer a streamlined approach for their customers using a sophisticated online ordering system. This enables an efficient distribution of products to their customers.
The role on offer
If you are a person who wants to work in a job where your main focus is the customer, then this role will definitely surpass your expectations. Every day you will be talking to new and existing customers on the phone, via email and responding to website enquires. This could include outlining Cleanline Tasman's products and services, addressing any questions and resolving issues.
In addition, you will be entering sales orders, following up on back orders, preparing quotes, processing credit applications, onboarding of new customers and providing web training via teams. Providing support to the sales team will also be required to enable them to do their job properly.
Do you fit the profile of this role?
As this role is the first point of contact for customers it is expected that the ideal person will first and foremost be able to connect well with customers through multiple channels. Along with this you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Good all-round experience preferably in a customer support role
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and preferably customer databases
- Able to respond promptly to customer queries and provide effective solutions
- An organised desk and be able to keep your finger on the pulse with admin tasks
- Be flexible enough to work extra hours if required
