Based in Taranaki Cleanline Tasman is a multi-generational NZ family-owned business and are a real success story offering a range of products and services to businesses Nationwide. Due to huge growth, they are soon to move to a brand-new purpose built ‘state of the art’ facility in Bell Block including a new showroom.

Cleanline Tasman specialise in supplying high quality workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE) along with in-house branding for uniforms. They take full advantage in using the latest systems and equipment to make processes more streamlined for better customer outcomes.

The role on offer

If you are looking for a very different and interesting role that can provide you with an opportunity to gain quite specialised skills and the opportunity to work with a fun, energetic team then this may be ideal for you. Chances are when you see a garment with a fancy logo and name on it, that’s us!

The day-to-day responsibilities will include operating embroidery and heat press machines, organising digitising and run samples, vinyl cutting, trimming threads and backing, sewing on badges, carrying out repairs and alterations, quality control checks and much more.

The ideal person

Someone with the right attitude and hungry to learn. Previous experience is a bonus but it is not required. The skills and attributes that would best suit this role are:

• A good creative flair with an eye for detail
• Good listening skills and the ability to pick up the tasks of the job quickly
• Able to read and understand work instruction documents and manuals
• A good sense of humour
• To think outside the square and apply good problem solving skills
• Work quickly and methodically
• A good balance between working independently and being a contributing member of a team
